The family will have a visitation at the funeral home on Saturday, March 20, 2021 from 5 PM until 8 PM. Jamie Dakota Howell was born December 30, 1994 in Monroe, Louisiana to the union of his parents, Tracy James Howell and Lisa Rayborn Howell, and he passed from this life March 16, 2021 in Port Allen, Louisiana. Jamie loved life and could brighten any room just by walking through the door. He always chose to see the positive things in life and he always left you feeling better than before. He loved his job as a welder in the oil industry and enjoyed traveling to all the places that it took him. Jamie would come home with stories of what he had seen and done and all the new foods he had tried. He loved to cook and try new foods out on his family. He enjoyed being outdoors riding his side X side. More than anything else, he loved his family and friends and spending time with them. He loved to get on the floor, like a big kid, and play with his children, niece and nephews. He was preceded in death by his infant son, Trenton Lane Howell and his uncle, Johnny Wayne Fife. Those left to cherish his memory are his wife, Jessica Howell; his children, Lincoln Cooper Howell and Lillian Grace Howell; his parents, Tracy and Lisa Howell; his sister, Ashley Nicole Howell; grandparents: Janice Brazell, James Howell and Virgie Sharp; niece and nephews: Addyson, Jace, Gabriel, and Kyezer; mother-in-law, Randa Elkins; father-in-law, Mike James; as well as numerous cousins and friends. Serving as honorary pallbearers are Jason Butler, James McKeithen, Logan Crawford, Trevor Varnell, Dylan Fife, Mason James, Kasey Ross and Tyrel Fitzgerald.
