Jamie Allen Clay Johnson, 45, of Carlisle, Kentucky passed away on Tuesday, March 24, 2026. He was born on February 3, 1981, in Morehead, Kentucky. The son of Lainie Turner Johnson and Randy E. Johnson.
Throughout his career as a carpenter, Jamie demonstrated a genuine passion for creating and building. He enjoyed working with his hands, bringing structures and ideas to life. Beyond his professional talents, Jamie had a heartfelt love for sports, both watching and playing.
Survivors include his mother and father, Randy E. Johnson and Lainie Turner Johnson, his daughter, Taelyn Johnson. Jamie was also survived by his maternal grandfather, James “Buster” Turner, and his wife Janice, all residing in Owingsville, as well as by his brother, Brandon Johnson, and Brandon’s wife Kelsie, of Lexington.
Jamie was preceded in death by his maternal grandmother, Carolyn Clay Foley Turner, and his paternal grandmother, Linda Louise Combs.
There are no services at this time.
