It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Jamie Victor Ramirez, who left us too soon on October 10, 2025. Born on September 27, 1961, in San Angelo, TX, Jamie was a loving father, grandfather, brother, son, and friend. He lived a life full of love, hard work, and kindness.
Jamie was known for his unwavering dedication to his family, his work, and his friends. As a heating and air conditioning technician, he spent his career helping others and always went the extra mile to ensure their comfort and safety. He was a man of integrity and compassion, always ready to lend a hand to those in need.
Above all, Jamie loved spending time with his family. His heart was full of pride and joy for his children: Justin Ramirez, Victoria Nielsen, Amanda Hughes, and Dominic Nead. He cherished his role as a father and doted on his grandchildren—Aurelia and Leo Ramirez, Colton, Wyatt, and Adalynn Nielsen, and Samantha Hughes—who brought him immense happiness.
Jamie had a passion for the simple pleasures in life. He loved playing golf and watching hockey games with his family and friends. His laughter and light-hearted spirit will be deeply missed by all who knew him. He had an incredible ability to make people feel welcome and was always there for those who needed a shoulder to lean on.
Jamie was the son of Lucrecia and Johnnie Ramirez. He is also survived by his sister, Frances Ramirez, and his brother, Jerome Ramirez. His love for his family was boundless, and his memory will live on in the hearts of those who had the privilege of knowing him.
A service will be held in his honor at 2:00 PM Saturday November 8, 2025 at Harper Funeral Home in San Angelo, TX. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to a charity of your choosing.
Jamie’s legacy will continue to inspire us all—through his love for his family, his work ethic, and his kind, generous spirit. He will forever be missed but never forgotten.
