Jamie L. Root
Jamie Lynn Root, 48, passed away Saturday February 21, 2026 at St. Francis Hospital Downtown Greenville.
Born April 13, 1977 in Chicago, Illinois, she was a daughter of Jerry Gowan and Joann Carol Calabrese and was a graduate of Chesnee High School.
Surviving in addition to her parents, is her daughters, Jade Heard, Adia Heard; son, Nicholas Heard; sisters Jeanell Gowan and DeAnna Duff and husband Michael.
She was predeceased by a sister, Melissa Gowan.
A Celebration of Life for Jamie and her sister Melissa will be from 2:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. at Harris-Nadeau Mortuary & Crematory.
Family members are at their respective homes.
