Jamie Hope Stephenson Sutton, born on June 24, 1977, in Robeson County, North Carolina, passed away unexpectedly at her home in Four Oaks on March 4, 2025. Known for her warmth and kindness, Jamie was a loving wife, mother, sister, and friend, whose presence will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her.
A visitation will be held at Rose & Graham Funeral Home Inc. in Benson on Thursday, March 13, 2025, from 12:00 PM to 12:45 PM, followed by a funeral service at 1:00 PM. Rev. Michael Preddy will officiate this heartfelt service, where family and friends will come together to honor and celebrate Jamie's life. Burial will take place afterward in Roselawn Cemetery in Benson.
In her 30 years of marriage, Jamie shared a profound bond with her husband, Bradley Sutton. Together, they built a loving family that includes their beloved daughters, Jenna Sutton, who is accompanied by her boyfriend Samuel French, Bayla Sutton, and Chloe Sutton. Jamie's active role in her daughters' lives showcased the depth of her love and commitment as a mother.
Jamie cherished her close relationships with her sibling and extended family. She is survived by her sister, Kimberly Allen, along with her husband Keith, who provided joy and support throughout their lives. Her family also includes her uncle, L. C. Jernigan, and the younger generations, such as her niece Kaylee Allen, nephew Kristopher Allen with his wife Amberly, great nieces Aubree and Kimslee Allen, and special friend, Denise Massengill Jernigan in addition to several aunts, uncles and cousins who will carry forward her legacy of love.
Jamie was preceded in death by her parents, Gerald Stephenson and Janice Jernigan Stephenson, whose nurturing guidance helped shape the remarkable woman she became.
Jamie Hope Sutton leaves behind a legacy filled with love that will forever remain in the hearts of those she touched. Her spirit and kindness will continue to inspire all who knew and loved her.
