Our beloved husband, father, son and brother, Jamie Williams, 41, returned home to our Heavenly Father after passing peacefully in his sleep, Sunday, April 9, 2023. Jamie was born April 26, 1981, in Ogden, Utah to Blaine J. and Marie Palmer Williams.
Jamie earned the rank of Eagle Scout as a young man. He spent childhood summers with his parents and four brothers in the High Uinta Mountains fishing, hiking, camping and hunting. He graduated from Roy High School and served a mission for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Fresno, California.
Jamie met the love of his life, Emilee Oborn, while working together at Palmer Decor in Ogden, UT. They were sealed in the Salt Lake Temple on September 24, 2002. They welcomed daughter Ashlee Dawn, a few years later. Nothing was more important to Jamie than being a husband and father. Ashlee was the apple of his eye. He was so proud of her.
Working as a security guard at Fresenius Medical Care in Ogden, was a gratifying job for Jamie. He appreciated the friendships and working relationships he formed with his peers.
Jamie was an example of love and service to all who knew him. He was a "quiet watcher." He was the first to offer to hold a door or carry something heavy. He did more dishes than any of his brothers combined! Jamie was compassionate. Every snow storm, he would be found along the streets of his neighborhood snow blowing driveways for hours. Even when he didn't feel well, he was always thinking of others before himself.
Jamie loved the Savior and was an active member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. He served as primary teacher.
He is survived by his loving wife, Emilee; daughter, Ashlee; father, Blaine Williams; brothers: Jason (Holly), Brandon (Jacqueline), Bryon (Steve), and twin brother, Jeremy (Lexi); In-Laws Rick and Janice Oborn, Stan (Kallie) Oborn; along with many loving aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Marie; sister, Dawn; and his grandparents.
In lieu of flowers, donations would be appreciated to help with medical and funeral costs.
Funeral service will be held at 11a.m. on Thursday, April 20, 2023 at the Roy 7th Ward Chapel, 4900 S. 2000 W. Roy, UT 84067. The family will meet with friends on Wednesday, April 19, 2023 from 6 to 8 p.m. at Lindquist’s Roy Mortuary, 3333 West 5600 South and Thursday, April 20th from 10 to 10:45 a.m. at the church.
