Thomas W. Magee, born on March 12, 1941 in Durango, Colorado, passed away peacefully on February 24, 2026 in his residence in Clearfield, Utah. Thomas, known for his charismatic personality and adventurous spirit, was a beacon of light in the lives of many. As a loving husband, dedicated father, and doting grandfather, Thomas stood as a reliable pillar in his family and community. He was a man of faith and served diligently in several positions in The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. His passion for service was matched only by his love for his family and the great outdoors. Tom and his dad shared a love for the outdoors. Hunting, fishing and Camping. Tom passed that love onto his sons and grandchildren and was beginning to with his great grandchildren.

Thomas spent his early years in Weber and Davis County, where he developed a strong bond with his four sisters, Peggy, Vickie, Susan, and Cheri. After graduating from Weber High School in 1959, he went on to serve six years in the Army National Guard and Army Reserve. Thomas' love for baseball led him to affiliate with the L.A. Dodgers for one season in 1960, after which he became a smoke jumper for the Forest Service. He then built a successful 42-year career as an Architectural Representative. Even after his retirement, Thomas' restless spirit led him to a second career driving Special Education School buses. His funny and lively nature made him a favorite among the children he transported.

In 1967, Thomas married the love of his life, Jacqueline, and together they raised three sons - Thomas Jr., Travis, and Trever. He was a loving grandfather to eight grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. Thomas was preceded in death by his parents, Thomas and Elizabeth Magee. He is survived by his wife Jacqueline, his sons, and their families.

A viewing will be held on Wednesday, March 4, 2026, from 6:00-8:00 p.m., at Myers Mortuary, 5865 S. 1900 W., Roy, UT. Graveside services will be held on Thursday, March 5, 2026, at 11:00 a.m., at the Hooper Cemetery, 5290 S. 6300 W., Hooper, UT.

In the words of the Book of Mormon, "Men are, that they might have joy" (2 Nephi 2:25). Thomas W. Magee not only exemplified this verse through his contagious joy but also spread this joy to all those around him. He will be remembered for his laughter, his adventurous spirit, and most importantly, his unwavering love for his family and faith.
