Max Brannon & Sons Funeral Home - CalhounJamie Lynn Wilson, 38, of Cartersville, Georgia, passed away on Thursday, November 6, 2025. She was born in Decatur, Georgia, on June 28, 1987, to Beverly Basham Wilson and the late James Alvin Wilson. She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Alvin and Marcia Wilson, and Kenneth Basham; her father, James Wilson.
She is survived by her mother, Beverly Wilson; sister and brother-in-law, Kathy (Chris) Stephens; grandmother, Lataine Basham; nephews, Wyatt Stephens and Rhett Stephens; aunts and uncles, Debbie (Dan) Berry, Dottie (Jeff) Franks, Kenny (Susie) Basham; several cousins and other relatives also survive.
Jamie was fiercely loyal to those she loved. Her nephews were the light of her life and kept her going. She was kind hearted and put others before herself. Through all she endured, Jamie used laughter to cope with her pain. Jamie was the strongest, most giving person and had a heart for those in need.
The family will receive friends on Saturday, November 15, 2025, from 11:00 AM until 1:00 PM at Max Brannon and Sons Funeral Home. A memorial service will follow the visitation at 1:00 PM from the chapel of Max Brannon and Sons Funeral Home.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Jamie's honor to Hope House Int'l or Hope's Embrace.
The Brannon family and staff are honored to serve the family of Jamie Lynn Wilson.
