Jammie Glen Girvin, 72, of Russellville died Wednesday, January 29, 2025, at her home. Following a private family committal in the Chapel of Light, cremation arrangements were provided by the J. Herman Humphrey Dignity Cremation Center under the direction of Humphrey Funeral Service.
The daughter of James and Jean (Morphis) Cates, Jammie was born February 14, 1952, in Memphis, Tennessee. She married Mark Lewis Girvin, on December 27, 1987, in Memphis. Her parents preceded her in death, as well as a son, Shane Girvin.
Jammie's surviving family includes her husband of 38 years, Mark; and a sister, Kay Sweeney of Memphis.
Jammie owned and operated a beautician business in the Memphis are for nearly 15 years. She worshipped with the faith family of Westside Church of Christ.
