Jan V. Cverko, age 77, passed away at the Clement J. Zablocki Veterans Memorial Hospital on January 4, 2026.
Jan was a veteran of the Vietnam War, serving in the Army as a Field Radio Repairman. He studied Psychology at UWM, but his proclivity for electronics led him to a second career in electronics repair.
In his free time, Jan could be found coin collecting and ballroom dancing, a hobby that lasted over 20 years. He enjoyed many years of travel across the world, including visits to family in Florida. Jan will be fondly remembered by his close friends of many years, Mike, Ted and Bill.
Jan is survived by his sister Monica (Andy), his niece Lea (Matt), his nephews Patrick (Carol) and Dan (Cathy).
He was preceded in death by his parents John and Evelyn, his sister Sonia, and his brother Greg.
A memorial gathering will be held for Jan on January 15, 2026, at Hartson Funeral Home (11111 W Janesville Rd, Hales Corners WI, 53130) from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM.
A special time to share memories will be from 2:30 to 3:00 PM.
