Jan Erb

Jan Lee Erb, 58, died unexpectedly on Tuesday, September 2, 2025 at Goshen Hospital.

He was born January 3, 1967, in Goshen, to Lonnie and Linda (Webb) Erb.

Jan worked in construction and plastering for many years and also volunteered with the Benton Fire Department for 20 years. He attended Zion Community Church in Millersburg and was a 10 year 4-H member in his youth. Later, he enjoyed helping his sons and grandsons with their 4-H projects.

Jan enjoyed spending time and racing motorcycles with his nephew, Clayton Erb. He also cherished time spent with family, friends, and his grandchildren.

Survivors include his parents, children Preston Erb, Florida, and Camron (Amanda) Erb, Syracuse; 4 grandchildren, Lyam Moseman, Lane Erb, Michael Erb, and Morgan Erb; and siblings, Jim Erb, Jon Erb, Juston (Tracey) Erb, all of Goshen, and Jerod (Megan) Erb, Milford.

Visitation will take place on Saturday, September 13, 2025, from 10 a.m. until the 1 p.m. funeral service, which all will take place at Yoder-Culp Funeral Home, Goshen. Pastor Jeff Lewis will officiate the service.

Burial will follow at Benton Lutheran Cemetery.
