Jan Sharon Keiter Pharr

Jan was my friend since childhood, and into our early adult years. I was lucky enough to attend her and Bills wedding, and watch her son Billy grow up,as well as her daughter Laura, who was born the same years as my son Cory.

I would visit Essex in my summers, as my husband and I moved to Louisiana in 1981. We still remained friends, and I would spend many happy moments at her and Eric's house, eating food from her wonderful garden, especially the tomatoes and silver queen corn.

Jan and I worked together at the Essex nursing home. I will forever Miss her sparkling wit, her eyes that danced, and her infectious laugh. Rest in peace dear friend, you are surely missed by Wayne, Cory , Wayne Jr and me. My red headed friend, you bless and decorated my life.

We got stranded on her boat, one hot summer night. I will always remember that night for the rest of my life. We were sand barred and somewhat tipsy!!

Happy heavenly birthday, Mom Jan. I won the lottery when I got you as my mother-in-law. Incredible person, role model, loving and giving mother & grandmother. We will love you and miss you forever!

I remember going to there home for cook outs family outings when I was with Kimberly Harper a very sweet lady. And giving thank you for the memories. Never forgotten.
