Jan Sharon Keiter Pharr

Jan Sharon Keiter Pharr, beloved mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend, passed away peacefully on March 1, 2023, at 65, surrounded by her family in Myrtle Beach, SC. She was born on March 27, 1957, in Baltimore, MD to Nancy Faye Parker and Herman Sheridan Keiter.

Jan graduated from Eastern Vocational Technical in 1975 and went on to pursue her passion for nursing. In 1994, she graduated from CCBC-Essex to become a Registered Nurse. Jan had a long and successful career in nursing, spanning 38 years, and was well respected and admired by her peers. She touched countless lives with her kindness, compassion, and skill.

Family was everything to Jan, and she always made time for her loved ones. She had a warm and infectious personality, a great sense of humor, a contagious laugh, and a smile that could light up a room.

Jan loved reading, gardening, traveling, and cooking, but her true creative outlet was crafting. She enjoyed making handmade cards and crafts for her family and friends, and her creations were always filled with love and care.

Jan is survived by her son, William F. Larsen III, his wife, Joana Larsen, grandson, William F. Larsen IV, and her daughter, Laura Elizabeth Pharr. She is also survived by her siblings, Glenda, Lynn, Nona, Lori, Donna, Lisa, Kim, and numerous nieces and nephews.

Jan will be deeply missed by all who knew her. She leaves behind a legacy of love, kindness, and selflessness that will be cherished forever. May she rest in peace.

A Celebration of Life service will be held in her honor.
