Jan M. Schrepferman Eke, 40, passed away Sunday, December 12, 2010 at The Cleveland Clinic . Born in Kokomo, Jan was a former teacher at Northwest High School, Indianapolis. Surviving are her husband, Gerald "Jerry" Eke of Fort Wayne; parents, Phil and Mary Connie Schrepferman of Kokomo; sons, Chino and Tobe Eke both at home; brothers, Dr. Chris (Rachel) Schrepferman of Louisville KY, and John (Sharon) Schrepferman of S. Elgin IL; and sister, Amy (Steele) Jarrell of Sharpesville. Mass of Christian Burial is 2:30 pm Saturday at St. Jude Catholic Church, 2130 Pemberton Drive with Fr. Thomas Shoemaker officiating. Prayers 2 pm Saturday at D.O. McComb & Sons Lakeside Park Funeral Home 1140 Lake Ave. Calling from 2 to 5pm and 7 to 9pm Friday at the funeral home with a Vigil Service at 7:30 pm. Burial in Catholic Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the Chino and Tobe Eke Educational Fund, c/o Rick Ponder, Fifth Third Bank, 6026 Lima Road, Fort Wayne, IN 46818, (260) 490-2238.
