Jana Lynn Daniels, 57, of Bergman, was called to her heavenly home on Monday, September 22, 2025, at Washington Regional Medical Center in Fayetteville, after a long, hard-fought battle with cancer.

She was born December 17, 1967, at Harrison, to Roy William and Shirley Jo Norvell Curtis. On March 27, 1999, she married Scotty Ray Daniels in Oklahoma, during the halftime of a basketball game-a memory that family and friends have cherished ever since. She faithfully served as secretary at Bergman Elementary School, where she was known for her kindness and warm smile. Jana found her strength and joy in many people and things, including (but not limited to) the following: spending time with Scott and their dogs, Fancy and Gidget, lunch dates with the girls at school, after school visits and other adventures with her grandkids, fishing, basketball, and golfing, and playing cards with Kayla and Gannon. She will always be known for her strength, courage, and contagious smile. Jana was a strong fighter, tougher than nails, that never complained and always looked for the good in people and situations. Her heart truly cared for everyone.

Survivors include her husband of 26 years, Scott Daniels of Bergman; a daughter and son-in-law, Kayla and Gannon Roberts of Harrison; three stepchildren, Kylee (Zach) Davidson of Harrison, Shelby (Blake) Smith of Harrison, and Tyler (Jerilynn) Daniels of Batavia; nine grandchildren, Bryson Kelley, Bentley Davidson, Bella Davidson, Hadley Smith, Stella and Saylor Smith, and Harper, Waylon, and Kensley Daniels; her parents, Roy and Shirley Curtis of Bergman; two brothers, Jeff (Nancy) Curtis and Jerry (Denise) Curtis, both of Harrison; a sister, Judi (David) James of Greenbrier; and other relatives and friends.

A memorial service will be held at 10 a.m. on Saturday, September 27, 2025, at First Assembly of God in Harrison. A private burial will be held at a later date at White Oak Cemetery at Bergman, near her grandparents. Arrangements are under the direction of Holt Memorial Chapel.
