Jane Rose Aldridge, passed away peacefully on Sunday October 5, 2025, surrounded by her five children who were the light of her life. Born in Queens, New York, she was the middle daughter of Edward and Mary Rose. Jane graduated from Saint Joseph's College for Women in Brooklyn, NY and then taught Kindergarten. She married William F Aldridge, a Marine Lieutenant from Baldwin, NY. They were stationed at Camp LeJeune, N.C. where they started their family. After their second child was born, they returned to Wantagh, New York and eventually had five children, four sons and one daughter. They later moved to Massapequa, NY and then to Middletown, NJ. Jane was a loving and devoted mother, active in her church confraternity always with a radiant smile and a warm touch.

Everyone who knew Jane experienced her gift of laughter, her clever wit and she always made everyone feel at home. She had an ability to make each family member feel they were the special one. She joyfully celebrated all the birthdays, holidays and special events for a large family as she was an excellent cook! She loved shopping and travel and kept her suitcase packed for the next trip! She and her husband created a loving home open always to her children, many nieces and nephews and twelve grandchildren all of whom adored her! In later years the Grandma Jane Christmas party was the biggest event of the year for the Aldridge clan.

Although Jane is gone, she will live in our hearts forever.

Jane is predeceased by her beloved husband Bill, her sister, Anne Aldridge and her parents.

She is survived by her daughter Elaine (Aldridge) Neller and husband Tom of Middletown, NJ; her son Bill Aldridge and wife Lisa of Colts Neck, NJ, her son Michael Aldridge and wife, Marie of Massapequa, NY, her son Mark Aldridge of Massapequa, NY and her son, Tom Aldridge and wife Cathy of Middletown, NJ; twelve grandchildren; Ryan, Steven, Colin, Michael, Brian, Kevin, Michael, Jimmy, Janine ( her 1 precious grand-daughter ) and Thomas, Connor and Kyle. She has 18 Great-grandchildren: Luke, Cece, Shea, Adeline, Isla, Leanne, Natalie, Alicia, Emilia, Reeve, Case, Axelle, Vann, Jett, Beau, Lawson, Christian and Collette and #19 is on the way! Also survived by her sister, Marguerite Harrington.
