Jane Barker, 82, of Wooster, died Thursday, January 11, 2024 at West View Healthy Living.
Jane was born July 22, 1941 in Sutton, WV to Alva and Lillian {Snyder} Wilson.
She graduated from Smithville High School in 1960.
Jane worked for Hawkins Market and Cafeteria then Wayne County National Bank for 18 years. She was a member of the North Wooster Baptist Church. Jane enjoyed gardening, calligraphy, working outside, taking walks, spending time with her family and friends, and most importantly studying her Bible.
Jane will be deeply missed by her children Lisa White, Gwenna Barker both of Wooster; step-grandchildren Kyle and Chloe White; sister Carroll Koval; and former son-in-law Tony White.
Jane was preceded in death by her parents, brothers Charlie, Donald, Elbert, Johnny, Omar and Randall, sisters Geraldine and Ellen.
Friends may call Saturday from 10 to 11 p.m. at North Wooster Baptist Church. Funeral services will be Saturday at 11 a.m. at the church (and livestreamed at www.RobertsFuneralHome.com/obituaries/Jane-Barker) with Pastor Cliff Hartley officiating. Burial will be at Sherwood Memorial Gardens. Online tributes may be made at www.RobertsFuneralHome.com. Memorial contributions may be made to Ohio’s Hospice LifeCare, 1900 Akron Rd.
