Jane graduated from Marion High School in 1955. She worked as a bookkeeper for 18 years at First National Bank in Marion. She was a lifelong member of First Christian Church in Marion. Jane loved spending time with the people most important to her, and she could often be found playing cards with and enjoying the company of her family and friends. In addition to her loving husband, Bill, survivors include her brother, Stephen (Jane) Sharon of Marion; brother-in-law, John (Marilyn) Boxell of Chattanooga, TN; sister-in-law, Cathren Elizabeth (Harley) Cook of McClean, VA; nieces, Amelia (Jack) Wood of Swayzee, Jennifer (Dan) Strawmyer of Lebanon, Melissa (Greg) Wilkinson of Franklin, Susan Elizabeth Carey of Brandon, FL, Betsy (Peter) Morse of Indianapolis, and Susan Elizabeth (Robert) Null of Philadelphia, PA; nephews, Paul David (Gaye) Carey of New Brumfield, TX, Brian Boxell of Chattanooga, TN, and Greg (Kim) Cook of OH; plus several great nieces and great nephews.

She was preceded in death by her father, Floyd Sharon; mother, Wilma Sharon; and sister, Barbara Jean Martinez.
