Jane Bethune Brown, a beloved mother, grandmother, sister, and friend, left this world on November 20, 2025, at her residence. Born on February 20, 1953, in Mississippi, Jane's life was marked by her deep love for family and her nurturing spirit.
Jane will be remembered fondly by her son, Micah Brown and Carlie, and her daughter, Crystal Brown. She was a proud grandmother to Greyson, who brought her immense joy. Jane also cherished her relationship with her mother, Willa Dean Bethune, and shared a close bond with her siblings. Her sister, Donna Weston and husband, James, and brother, David Bethune, along with her niece, April McClurkan, and nephew, Jamie Bethune, will carry her memory in their hearts.
Throughout her life, Jane had a passion for spending time with family and friends, making lasting memories that will be treasured forever. She enjoyed browsing Facebook, connecting with loved ones across distances and sharing snippets of her life.
Jane was preceded in death by her father, Harold Bethune, her husband, James Richard Brown, her granddaughter, Cheyenne Walters; and her grandparents, Burke and Sallie Edmondson. Their memories will forever be a part of her enduring legacy.
