Jane Cavender Obituary
Jane passed away peacefully at her and her daughter's home in Midvale on September 20th. She was 84 years old.
Mom was born on October 16th, 1939 in Park City, Utah to LeGrand and Phoebe Durrant Bridges. Mom married our dad John “Jack” W. Cavender on June 5th, 1959 in the Salt Lake Temple.
She graduated from Morgan High School in 1957. Mom worked hard over the years to provide for her three children with the untimely passing of her dear Jack. Mom enjoyed everything to do with her family. She especially loved to read, going on car rides, seeing the autumn leaves was always a favorite of hers. Mom loved watching and listening to General Conference.
Mom is survived by her children Shelli Cole, Mike Cavender, Kelli Cavender; 10 grandchildren; 17 great grandchildren; and one great great grandson on the way. Also survived by many nieces and nephews and others who loved her dearly. Preceded in death by husband Jack; parents; son-in-law Jim Cole; daughter-in-law Julie Cavender; one great granddaughter Kayezlee Cole; two sisters and four brothers.
Friends and family are invited to attend the graveside services on Wednesday, October 16th at 11:00 AM at the West Jordan City Cemetery, 7800 South 1300 West, West Jordan.
