She was born on December 10, 1952, in Pueblo, Colorado. Jane was the daughter of Wm Vern "Vee" Dixon, Jr, and Shirley Jane (Rudd) Dixon. They lived in Buhler, KS and Alamosa, CO, before settling in Lawrence, KS where they reared their two sons, Brendan Masterson Scarffe and Kendall Comstock Scarffe. Jane was a Special Education teacher in the Lawrence School District for 30 years. She loved to travel with her grandchildren, as well as visiting with her many loving friends and family.
Jane was preceded in death by her parents.
