Jane Dobbs Obituary
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 34 years, Bill Dobbs; grandson, Justin Anthony Dobbs; daughter, Melinda Dobbs; mother-in-law, Panzy Dobbs; special sister-in-law, Patricia Dobbs; brother-in-law, Larry Dobbs; ex-in-laws that loved her like a daughter, Richard and Mary Holland.
Jane is survived by her daughters, Mendy and Johnnie Daugherty of Helenwood, TN and Rachel and Mark Slaven of Oneida, TN; grandsons she raised as sons, Kyle Dobbs of Arizona, Dustin Dobbs of Scott County, TN; grandsons, Brock (Shontel) Daugherty of Low Gap, TN, Jon Daugherty of Helenwood, TN, Gavin Lanter (Jaylynn) of New Castle, IN; granddaughters, Marissa (Christian) Slaven of Monticello, KY, Julia Slaven of Oneida, TN; great grandchildren, Aubrey and Ryker Daugherty, Kayson Denny, Venture and Lynnde Lanter; sister, Karen Gardner of Lafayette, IN; brothers-in-law, Lee and Jimmy (Marilyn) Dobbs of Muncie, IN; nieces, Deborah (Greg) Stiver, Amy (Tommy) Eiler and Lisa Dobbs; nephews, Steve and David Dobbs; many other relatives and friends.
Jane's request was to be cremated. A private family memorial service will be held at a later date.
