Jane Golik Obituary
Jane A. Golik (nee Texter), age 86, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, May 28, 2024 at the Parc of Joliet.
Jane is survived by her loving sister, Christy (the late Richard) Peters; nephew, William (Karrie) Peters; niece, Laurie Peters; and great-niece, Samantha Peters.
Preceded in death by her husband, Joseph Golik Jr.; and her parents, William and Anne (nee Shipshock) Texter.
Jane was an animal lover. She was an advocate for all animals and enjoyed volunteering at the West Suburban Humane Society for many years. Jane was a Chicago Cubs fan and enjoyed watching them play. She will be dearly missed.
Per Jane’s wishes cremation rites have been accorded. She will be laid to rest with her husband at St. Mary Catholic Cemetery in Evergreen Park.
