She was born in Millport, daughter of the late Leroy and Harriet (Birkinbine) Cammauf and was the wife of Russell R. Groff, with whom she shared 75 years of marriage.
She was a member of Salem United Methodist Church, Rothsville.
Jane will be remembered for her warm heart and her love of family, baking and shopping. Jane, affectionately known as, "The Pie Lady"found joy in baking pies for family, neighbors and anyone fortunate enough to receive one. When not baking, Jane could be found strolling the isles of Kmart or picking out a card at the Hallmark Store. Jane had a gift of sending cards at just the right time, touching the hearts of many. Jane had a love of cooking, especially for her family. Her family will forever remember and cherish the countless memories made around Grandma's kitchen table.
In addition to her husband, Jane is survived by 2 daughters, Deborah, wife of the late Craig Young, Sharon, wife of Craig Hershey; 4 grandchildren, Erica (Chris) Althouse, Jordan Young and companion, (Brian Strohecker), Kaitlin (Zach) Mueller, Madalyn Hershey; 3 great-grandchildren, Kayla (Jason) Maffeo, Owen and Theo Mueller; 2 great-great-grandsons, Cooper and Tucker Maffeo; 1 sibling, Carl Cammauf..
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by brother's, Lester Cammauf, Leroy Cammauf Jr, Herbert Cammauf, Wilbur Cammauf, Walter Cammauf, Richard Cammauf and sister's Emeline Klopp and Caroline Huber.
A viewing will be held on Saturday, November 29, 2025, from 10 to 11 AM at the Samuel (Salem) United Methodist Church, 1744 Rothsville Road, Lititz. Funeral services will follow at 11 AM, with Pastor Steve Rogers officiating.
Interment will take place in the Millport Mennonite Cemetery.
The family would like to express their thankfulness for the wonderful care provided by the staff at Ephrata Manor and Hospice and Community Care.
Memorial contributions in Jane's memory may be made to Ephrata Manor Benevolent Fund, 99 Bethany Road, Ephrata, PA 17522.
