Jane was more than merely "devoted" to her volunteer work at Menlo Atherton High School. For years she coordinated student field trips, and was always willing to venture far "above and beyond" to help teachers and students. Even as she retired from M-A, Jane never left education, continuing to run a successful SAT tutoring program.
I loved Jane's matter-of-fact attitude about life, and admired her as a friend and colleague.
