Jane L. Laub, 86 of Northampton, PA, passed away on Thursday, February 5, 2026, at Lehigh Valley Hospital - Muhlenberg Campus in Bethlehem, PA. Born Tuesday, May 30, 1939, in Northampton, PA, she was the daughter of the late George W. Tracy and the late Helen M. (Newhard) Tracy. She was the wife of the late Darryl R. "Skip" Laub who passed away March 7, 2014. 

Jane was a 1957 graduate of Northampton Area Senior High School who was last employed as a cafeteria worker for the Northampton Area School District in the Senior High School Cafeteria for over 30 years until retiring in 2002. After working for the Northampton Area School District in the Senior High School Cafeteria, she transitioned into the Franklin Elementary School crossing Guard at E. 9th St. and Lincoln Ave. in Northampton for years. Jane was a member of Grace U.C.C. Church, Northampton, where she was active for many years in the church's candy making, preparing and serving many of the Church social dinners and funeral luncheons. She was always active in her community, as a member of the Northampton Fire Departments Women's Association, member of the Alliance Fire Co., member and server at the Liederkrantz Social Club, all of Northampton. She also loved spending time at the Coplay Saengerbund during the summer months.

Surviving are her sons, Mark D. Laub and wife Deborah of Northampton, PA and Scott A. Laub of Florida, 6 grandchildren; 4 great grandchild. She was predeceased by her daughter, Kim L. Loch in 2000, Twin sister, Janet Paul, and sister, Jean Mikitsh.

A Visitation for the public will be held Thursday February 12, 2026, from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Schisler Funeral Home, 2119 Washington Ave. Northampton, PA 18067. Funeral Services will be private for family only. Interment will follow in Coplay Cemetery, Coplay, PA.

Memorial Contributions may be made to Grace U.C.C. Church memorial fund, 902 Lincoln Avenue, Northampton, PA 18067. Online condolences may be offered to the family at www.schislerfuneralhomes.com
