Jane Ann Malenski

Jane Ann Malenski, 84, of Alpena passed away Sunday, January 18, 2026, at Medilodge – Green View.
Jane Ann Dove was born November 23, 1941, to the late Alfred and Lula (Crow) Dove. She married Francis Malenski of Posen on October 17, 1964. They were married for 61 years.
Jane loved the outdoors and felt most at home while hunting, camping and being outside. Family was her favorite part of life and time spent together was everything to her. She lived simply, laughed often, and will be remembered for her warmth, strength, and love she gave freely.
Surviving are her husband Francis; four children, Sharon (Tom Tinger) McKenzie, Frank (Michele) Malenski, Emily (Patrick) Eagling and Mike Malenski; 10 grandchildren, Bryan (Pang) Carr, Casey (Katelyn) Carr, Jessica (Dominic) Goulette, Frank Allen (Katie) Malenski, Amanda (Jon) Hardies, Amber (Nate) Frahm, Anissa (Ben) Delekta, Max (Felicia) Ratliff, Mike (Michaela) Malenski, Makayla Malenski, and Megan Wilson; 19 great grandchildren; one brother, Alfred (Jane) Dove; several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her grandson Jason Malenski; Daughter-in-law Kristi Malenski; Son-in-law Tom O. McKenzie and brother Lewis Dove Sr.
Memorial visitation will take place at the Bannan Funeral Home on Friday, January 23, 2026, from 11:00 a.m. until the time of the memorial service at 1:00 p.m. officiated by her grandchildren, Pastor Casey Carr, Jon and Amanda Hardies.
