Jane Miller Obituary

The window of opportunity, to ask Jane a family ancestry question or to get one of her recipes, has officially closed.
Jane M. Miller, age 92, of Sun Prairie, Wisc., got her wish and was able to live at home until her passing on October 15, 2025.
She was born in Washington County, Pa., to Earl and Hazel (Hull) McClure. She met her future husband, Harry R Miller, at church, when she was 14 years old. They married in 1951 and raised three children.
Though they moved many times throughout their 60 years together, the rolling hills of Pennsylvania were always her true home.
Jane had a great sense of fun and optimism.
She was fiercely loyal to her family and friends.
She will always be remembered for her humor and having a quip or a quote for any situation.
Jane loved her grand- and great-grandbabies; the Pittsburgh Steelers; Patsy Cline; new recipes; hydrangeas; Willie Nelson; margaritas; Texas Sheet Cake; and any opportunity to get together with friends.
She is survived by her three children, Bill Miller; Nancy (Ray) Macgregor; and Carolyn Miller (Tom Schleitwiler); grandchildren, Nick; Emily (Stewart Reece); Ben; Sean; and Jordan; great-grandchildren, Liam; Mason; and Mila.
Jane was preceded in death by her husband; parents; sisters, Alice Chastel and Lois Meredith; brother, Bill McClure, and their pampered Shih Tzu, "Punky".
The family would like to thank the Agrace Hospice Team, Lindsay; LaShaunda; Marie; and Mikayla for all they did for our Mom.
We will gather to celebrate Jane's life on Thursday, November 6, 2025, at the Olympic Village Club House, 1000 Hunters Trail, Sun Prairie, WI 53590.
Funeral Service will be held at 1 p.m. Celebration will be held from 2 to 4 p.m.
In lieu of flowers, it is Jane's wish that you pause to remember a shared laugh, and lift a glass.
