Jane Miller Obituary

Jane Ellen Miller went peacefully to the Lord on January 23, 2026.

Jane was born in Richmond, Indiana on September 29, 1933. Her parents, Harry M. and Irene West, moved to Anderson in 1944, where Harry founded West Electric. Jane worked in the office of West Electric until her retirement in 1996.

Jane was married to Edward J. Miller in Anderson in 1953, shortly after Edward finished his service in the U.S. Marine Corps. Edward worked for West Electric until his death in 1976. Jane and Edward had three sons: David E. Miller, Ronald B. Miller and Brian A. Miller. All three sons graduated from Madison Heights High School.

Jane was actively involved in her sons’ boy scout activities, sports and church.

She left a legacy of love for family and friends.

Jane was proceeded in death by her parents, her husband, Edward, her brother, Harry West, and many beloved aunts, brothers and sisters in law and friends.

Her surviving family include: her sons and their wives, David Miller (Vicki Taylor), Ronald (Maria) Miller and Brian (Beth) Miller.

Her grandchildren and their spouses: Benjamin Reisman (Sean), Michael Miller, Daniel Miller (Lorean), Carl Miller, Emily Clark (Patrick), Bridget Witchger (David), Anna Denning (Nathan).

Her great grandchildren: Evan, Sean, and Audrey (Clark); Ethan, Isaiah, Zachary and Jacob (Witchger); Madelyn and Juliette (Miller); Miller (Reisman), and Step grandchildren: Grant and Mason (Taylor). Her niece, Linda Duell (Bill) and nephew, James West.

The family expresses its sincere gratitude to the staff of Sugar Fork Crossing for their compassionate care for Jane in her last earthly home.

The Funeral Mass will be held at St. Ambrose Catholic Church, 2801 Lincoln Street, Anderson, Indiana 46016, at noon on Wednesday, January 28.

Visitation will commence at 10:00 a.m. at the Church.

Jane's services have been entrusted to Bozell Funeral Homes and Crematory- Brown-Butz-Diedring Chapel.
