Jane Ellen Munn, aged 67 of Kentwood, passed peacefully into the arms of her Eternal Savior on December 14, 2025, following a four-year struggle with stage 4 ovarian cancer. Jane is reunited with her parents, Ann and Ed Meyers, who preceded her in death.
A compassionate mother, grandmother, wife and friend, Jane was deeply devoted to her family and to her faith in Jesus. Jane taught kindergarten in Kentwood Public Schools for 20 years, and was a long-time, active member of both South United Methodist and Cornerstone Churches. A lifelong advocate for human rights, Jane found joy in volunteering, supporting charities, and spending as much time as she could with her grandchildren, friends, and family.
She will be profoundly missed by her husband of 43 years, Dave Munn, her children, Nathan (Kallie) Munn and Rachael (Francisco) Munn, and grandchildren: Trae, Bianca, Mica, and Sloane, and her brothers, Jeff (Kelly) and Alan (Deb) Meyers.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, December 20th at Cornerstone Church – South Wyoming Campus, 2760 56th St SW, Wyoming MI, 49418. Visitation at 10am, service at 11am. In lieu of flowers, please send any gifts to Genesis Waters or Van Andel Institute.
