Jane Pecorelli, a remarkable woman whose warmth and kindness touched the lives of everyone around her, passed away peacefully on July 6, 2025, in Lakewood, Colorado. Born on August 18, 1940, in Centralia, Illinois, Jane was a beacon of love and compassion throughout her life.
She found joy in the small moments—watching television, sharing stories about her beloved grandchildren, and cherishing the time spent with her family. Jane was a proud graduate of CU Boulder, earning her Bachelor's in Education, which laid the foundation for a life dedicated to nurturing and educating those around her.
Her spirit shone brightly during her time as a member of Delta Gamma Sorority, where she embraced the values of friendship and service. Known for her kind heart and giving nature, Jane had a gift for making connections and engaging in heartfelt conversations, earning her a reputation as someone who could always be counted on for a friendly chat or a listening ear.
Jane was married to her devoted husband, Jim, for an incredible 57 years. Together, they created a loving home filled with laughter and cherished memories. Their daughter, Ann, and her husband, Joey, added to this joyous family tapestry, as did Jane’s granddaughters, Jolie and Dani, who were the light of her life and the source of endless pride.
In every role she undertook—wife, mother, grandmother, sorority sister—Jane exemplified kindness and generosity of spirit. Those who were fortunate enough to know her will remember her not only for her vivacious and talkative personality but also for the depth of love she shared. Her legacy of love and connection will endure in the hearts of her family and friends. Jane leaves behind a world made kinder simply by her presence, and her memory will be forever cherished by all who had the blessing of knowing her.
