Jane Pratte Obituary
Jane E. (Mosso) Pratte, 81, formerly of Worcester, Massachusetts, passed away on Friday, December 19, 2025 at Landmark Medical Center in Woonsocket.
Born in Worcester, she was the daughter of the late Roland and Arline (Gilmore) Mosso. Jane had resided in Cumberland for the past three years, having previously lived in Worcester for much of her life.
Ms. Pratte was employed for over ten years as a secretary with the City of Worcester, Lead Department, where she was known for her dedication and strong work ethic.
Jane embraced life with a free spirit and a feisty, strong-willed personality. She found joy in the outdoors-hiking, camping, going to the beach-and loved listening to music and dancing. An avid traveler, she especially enjoyed trips to the Southwest with her daughter Tami, with Arizona holding a special place in her heart. Above all, Jane treasured time spent with her family, particularly her beloved grandson, Zach.
She leaves her children, Tami Lavallee of Smithfield and Gary Mosso and his wife Rhonda Pozzi Mosso of Millbury, Massachusetts; her brother, Richard Mosso of Massachusetts; her cherished grandson, Zachary Lavallee; her granddaughter, Angela Speight; as well as numerous nieces and nephews. She was the sister of the late Allen Mosso.
Jane was greatly loved and will be sorely missed by her friends and family.
Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend Jane's Life Celebration, to be held with visitation on Saturday, January 3, 2026, from 4:00 to 7:00 PM at the J. J. Duffy Funeral Home, 757 Mendon Road (Route 122), Cumberland. A memorial service will take place at 6:30 PM.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her memory to The American Heart Association.
