LIMA -- Jane Marlene Purcell. Born April 22, 1949, in Lima, OH.
She is proceeded in death by her parents John H and Judith M (Smith) Height, her brother Joe H Height and granddaughter Hope Pack.
She wed Paul Owen Childs April 22, 1971, and had two daughters: Jennifer J Pack (Dayton, OH) and Angela M (Raymond) Zuercher (Lima, OH). She later wed the love of her life, Lauren E Purcell on March 3, 1989, and welcomed two stepchildren: Michael E (Colleen) Chambers-Purcell (Charolette, NC) and Keith A (Monica) Purcell (Shawnee, OH). She is survived by her 4 children, their spouses and 9 loving grandchildren and their spouses; Jonathan Dickey (Florida), Jason A Matz (West Chester, OH), Justin M.O (Kristina) Pack (Dayton, OH), Jordan A Purcell (Ann Arbor, MI), Jacob P (Amanda) Lee (Baltimore, MD), Zachary L Purcell (Columbus, OH), Mikayla A.R (Shawn) Cooper (Dayton, OH), Kristin R Zuercher (Lima, OH), Raymond J Zuercher (Lima, OH) and Sister by marriage, M Alice Shellenbarger (Westminster, OH) and a brother by marriage Robert (Carol) Anderson (O'Fallon, MO).
She is celebrated in many hobbies such as crocheting, square dancing, various crafts, gardening and spending time with her grandchildren. She participated in several clubs such as; International Order of Rainbow for Girls, 50-year member of Order of Eastern Star OES Lafayette Chapter 121, 50-year member El Karen #56 DOM, Merwin Rebekah Lodge 615 Cario OH, and Silver Spurs Square Dance Club in Cridersville, OH.
In lieu of flowers please make a donation in Jane's name to Relay For Life, American Cancer Society or ASPCA. Celebration of life will be held Thursday, March 26 from 4 to 7 PM. A memorial service will follow at 7 with Chaplain Peter Citrin officiating.
