She loved reading anything and everything, doing genealogy, finding out about her family history. She loved traveling and loafering around with her friends and family, especially with the Red Hat Ladies. She was a member of Cherry Springs Baptist Church for more than 40 years and loved all the people there. She was also a member of WMU.
She is preceded in death by her first husband, David Dow; second husband, J.D. Raffield; both her parents, Quinn Fisher and Janette Parker; and step mother, Carolyn Fisher.
She is survived by her daughter, Laurie Gardner (Robbie); grandson, Jack Norton (Dani); great grandson, Mason Norton; brother Jim Fisher (Donna); brother-in-law, Clark Raffield (Ruth); sisters-in-law, Phyllis Gibby and Janet Raffield; numerous nieces and nephews; and two special cousins, Marti Light and Suzanne Letchworth.
The family will receive friends Thursday, March 6, 2025 from 2-3 pm at Cherry Springs Baptist Church. A celebration of life service will follow from 3-4 pm at the church. To plant a beautiful memorial tree in memory of Jane, please visit our Tree Store.
