Johnnie Bell Raffield

Johnnie Bell Raffield, 89, of Panama City FL, passed away on Sunday November 9, 2025. She was born on June 27, 1936, in West Bay, Florida, to Murdock and Minnie Dee (Mitchum) Sunday. She will be remembered for being a devoted and loving wife, and the world's best Mema. Johnnie Bell is predeceased by her loving husband, Lacy Jackson Raffield II, her nine siblings and her parents. She is survived by her four children, Jack (Diane) Raffield, Gloria (John) Heinemann, Becky Raffield, James (Nancy) Raffield; her four grandchildren, Jamie Andrews, J.R. Raffield, Kyle Andrews and Madison Raffield; one great grandchild Lucy Andrews and many nieces and nephews.

Johnnie Bell (Mema) enjoyed cooking, fishing, and gardening. Her favorite thing in the world was cooking for her family. Mema was an incredible cook, and she spoiled her family with their favorite dishes when celebrating birthdays, holidays, special occasions and family gatherings. Sunday lunches with her family are what she looked forward to each and every week. Her fried shrimp, fish, and chicken were the best. And we cannot forget the biscuits, collards, corn bread, and the many delicious cakes made from scratch for which she was famously known.

Graveside Services will take place on Friday, November 21 at 11:00 am at Garden of Memories Cemetery, 4035 E. 15th Street, PC FL 32404. The family will receive visitors one hour prior to the service.
