Jane M. Schwartz, 96, of Fond du Lac, died on Monday, December 15, 2025, at Hospice Home of Hope with family by her side. She was born on October 20, 1929, in Waupaca, WI, the daughter of Archie and Elvira (Schwarze) Robertson. On November 19, 1949, she married Harold Schwartz at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Fond du Lac. Jane was an avid Cubs and Packers fan. She loved playing shut box, watching sports and game shows, and eating her ice cream bars. Her greatest love was for her family, whether it was babysitting for all the children, or making Hunts burgers for her children.
She is survived by eight children; Gail (Thomas) Schindelholz, Dennis (Barb) Schwartz, Linda (David) Riese, Keith Schwartz, Terry (Rose) Schwartz, Randy (Tina) Schwartz, Lori (David) Buskirk and Rod Schwartz, fourteen grandchildren; Terri (Pete) Vande Slunt, Keith Moon, Chris Schindelholz, Michelle (special friend Troy) Schindelholz, Josh (Kristen) Riese, Nathan Riese, Michael Riese, Ashley (Eric) Jellis, Rachel Schwartz, Ryan Schwartz, Amber Buskirk, KaLyn Schwartz, Maddisen Schwartz and Easton Schwartz; many great grandchildren; three great great grandchildren; brother, Gary (Judy) Robertson; sister, Shirley Heinz; and many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, Archie and Elvira; husband, Harold; daughter, Sharon Schwartz; granddaughter, Sandy Sandlin; and brother, Howard Robertson.
The visitation will be held on Saturday, December 20, 2025, from 2:00 PM – 4:00 PM at Uecker-Witt Funeral Home. The funeral service will follow the visitation at 4:00 PM. Inurnment will occur at Shire of Rest Mausoleum, Ledgeview Memorial Park Cemetery. Cremation has taken place.
