Jane Turner of Dudley, GA., died Friday March 15, 2024 at Fairview Park Hospital in Dublin, GA. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, March 19, 2024 at 11:00 a.m. at Mathews Funeral Home. Rev. Chris Turner will officiate. Interment will be held at Old Sardis Cemetery in Section, AL.
Ms. Turner was born to the late Jake and Margaret Smith Blankenship. She moved from Tennessee to Dublin, GA., in 1975. Ms. Turner was a retail manager with Its Fashion department store for many years until her retirement. She was an excellent cook and made sure you had something to eat when you came to her house. Along with her late husband J.T. Turner, she loved raising and caring for their beloved beagle dogs.
In addition to her parents and husband she was preceded in death by a great grandson Bradley Turner, and a brother Earl Blankenship.
Survivors include her children, Debbie Turner of Dudley, GA., Chris Turner (Regena) of Albany, GA., Dennis Turner of Dudley, GA., and Donna Hancock (Jasper) of Rainsville, AL., her grandchildren, Chris Turner (Sara), Jonathan Turner (Tricia), Dustin Hancock (Jessica), Ben Turner (Megan), and Josh Turner (Kayla), her siblings, Bill Blankenship (Jan), J.E. Blankenship (Carolyn), Shirley Hayes, Carolyn Keys, Lydia Cretsinger, Betty Onks and Wanda Presley (Dennis) and ten great grandchildren.
