Jane Ware Obituary
Jane Ware was born on February 21, 1928 in Bellefonte, PA in Centre County, to the late Maude Stover and Carroll Korman.
She passed away on Monday, March 23, 2026, at the age of 98 at UPMC-Hamot.
She grew up during the Great Depression and began working hard at a very young age and never seemed to stop.
She started her successful career with the Navy in the Philadelphia shipyards as an executive assistant. She took an opportunity to move to Erie and continued her career at Eriez Magnetics. She was married to the late John W. Ware, Jr. and has one daughter Olivia.
Jane was very proud of her German heritage and recounted frequently all the successes of her seven siblings. In her spare time, she enjoyed collecting antiques, gardening, and doting on her three grandchildren: John, Daniel, and Anna.
Private services and burial are being handled by the Dusckas-Martin Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., 4216 Sterrettania Rd. in Centre County where she will be interred.
