Janelle Marie Hughes Naquin, age 47, entered into eternal rest on July 16, 2023. Beloved mother of Brandon Armand (Cameron Turner) and Cameron Naquin. Grandmother of Isabelle and Rylee Armand. Loving companion of Troy Naquin. Daughter of Glenn “Mouse” Hughes, Sr. and Debra Hughes. Sister of Angela Deaton (Chris), Kathy O’Donahue (Kevin), and Glenn Hughes, Jr. (Erin). Also survived by nieces and nephews. A native of New Orleans and resident of Huntington, TX, Janelle was a loving mother, grandmother, and the glue of her family. Janelle was a hard worker and a diehard Saints fan. She loved her family dearly and always welcomed everyone with open arms. She bravely fought her battle with stage four lung cancer. She will be lovingly remembered and deeply missed by everyone.
Relatives and Friends of the Family are invited to attend the Funeral Service in the Chapel of MOTHE FUNERAL HOME, 2100 Westbank Expressway, Harvey, LA on Monday, July 24, 2023, at 11 AM. Interment Westlawn Memorial Park Cemetery, Gretna, LA. Visitation will be held from 9 AM until service time.
