Janet (Porter) Allen, 73, of High Point, Missouri passed away Sunday, November 10, 2024 at Eldon Nursing Home and Rehab in Eldon, Missouri. She was born April 20, 1951 in High Point, Missouri the daughter of the late Kenneth and Dorothy Lucille (Rohrbach) Porter. On May 27, 1972 in High Point, Missouri she was united in marriage to Charlie Allen who survives of the home.
Other survivors include,
Daughters, Amy Wright (William) of High Point, MO; Mandy Asbury of Eldon, MO; Shelly Davis (Matt) of Eldon, MO
Nine Grandchildren, Kamdyn, Kendal, Brady (Camri), Porter, Owen, Kaydin, Colten, Chasen & Kallyn
Siblings, Dianna Robnett of Jefferson City, MO; Leroy Porter (Cheryl) of High Point, MO; Dwayne Porter (Esther) of High Point, MO; Jerry Dean Porter (Charlene) of High Point, MO; Marla Amos (Gary) of Russellville, MO
Several Nieces, Nephews, Great Nieces & Great Nephews
Along with her parents, a brother-in-law, Jerry Robnett preceded her in death.
Janet was a member of the Corticelli Baptist Church where she was a Sunday school teacher for over forty years. She enjoyed watching the High Point Bluejays and Eldon Mustangs sporting events especially involving her grandchildren. She was an avid Missouri Tigers and St. Louis Cardinals baseball fan.
Visitation will be Friday, November 15, 2024 from 9:00 AM – 11:00 AM at Corticelli Baptist Church of Russellville, MO with the Funeral Service beginning at 11:00 AM with Dr. Greg Morrow officiating. Burial will follow at the High Point Cemetery.
Memorials in her name are suggested to the Corticelli Baptist Church Building Fund.
Arrangements are under the direction and care of Phillips Funeral Home of Eldon, MO.
