Janet Gail Boyle died on Tuesday February 5, 2026. Her death was due to complications from a broken hip. Janet had fought a long brave battle with Parkinsons disease. Her death was peaceful.

Janet was born in Minneapolis, Minnesota in 1939. Her father was Russell Baskin and her mother was Julia Johnson. She had an older sister Mary Carol and younger brother Bruce. She was a proud grade of Central High School in Minneapolis, class of 1957.

Janet married her high school sweetheart Larry Boyle in 1959. They had 3 children; Christine, Laura and John. They moved to Richfield, MN where they lived for many years. After the kids were grown they lived in Texas and Kansas City and eventually returned to Minneapolis. They retired in Lakeville, MN.

Janet worked at Wells Fargo Bank as a teller for over 20 years. She won many trips to Florida, Hawaii, and California due to her excellent performance at the bank. Her real vocation was that of a devoted wife and a loving and patient mother. Her hobbies were walking, sewing, and being a loving grandmother and great grandmother. She had a special relationship with her brother and sister and their spouses.

She is survived by her husband Larry and her children Chris, Laura (Mike Vorce), and John (partner Stacy). Her grandchildren Nicole (Andrew Tolvstad), Katlyn (Aaron Becker), Brigid (Sam Ruch), Victoria (Brandon Traub), Shelby, and Charles. As well as her great grandchildren Adelyn and Julia and one on the way. Her extended family brother Bruce Baskin (Julie), cousins, and many special nieces and nephews.

Janet was preceded in death by many loved ones including her parents, her sister Mary Carol Peterson and her husband Gary and her niece Cynthia Peterson.

Janet will be celebrated every time you show kindness and patience to someone else. A small celebration will held at a later time. In lieu of flowers or cards donate to Hospice. They were such amazing support during Janet's journey home.
