Janet W. Caudill

Janet Wylane Caudill, 71, of Palatka passed away Thursday, March 19, 2026, at HCA Florida Putnam Hospital in Palatka following a brief illness.
A Putnam County native and lifelong resident of Palatka, Janet's working career was spent mostly as a caregiver for the elderly. She had also worked for the former Florida Furniture Industries in Palatka and for a time at Gustafson's Dairy in Green Cove Springs.
In her leisure time, she enjoyed gardening, sewing, fishing, and baking, and she especially loved her dogs. She was of the Baptist faith.
Janet was preceded in death by her husband, Hugo Caudill; mother, Ethel Harris; father, Bill F. "Sam" Alexander; two brothers and a sister-in-law, Jimmy and Margie Alexander, and Joey Alexander.
Surviving are two sons and daughters-in-law, Brad Barber (Tracy) and Brandon Bostick (Jennifer); two step-sons, Kevin Bostick and Michael Bostick; a sister, Linda Carlin; two grandchildren, Corey Radtke and Rylee Bostick; and four nephews, Craig Alexander, Toby Alexander, Matthew Alexander, and James King.
