Born on October 12, 1949 in Baltimore, MD, Janet lived a very full and active life. Her compassionate nature and energetic personality will be dearly missed by all who knew her. Known for always thinking of others and staying strong in even the toughest of times, she was a bright light in the world. Janet's family asks that she be remembered for the joy she brought to others in life not the sadness of her passing.
She is survived by her daughter; Jennifer Connelly Borcik and husband, Chris; daughter Bryna Connelly Schaum and husband, Jason, and her four beloved grandchildren, Adam Borcik, Elise Borcik, Molly Schaum, and Caitlin Schaum. She is also survived by her many family and friends for whom she deeply cherished. She was predeceased by her husband of 43 years, Brian Gilbert Connelly.
A mass will be held on Monday, February 24th, 2025 at 11:30 a.m. at Sacred Heart Church of Glyndon. The family will receive friends there at the sanctuary at 10:30 prior to the ceremony. Flowers and memorial gifts are welcome but not necessary.

Its taken me the last few weeks to process the fact we won't be meeting at Panera for coffee. I am beyond sad and having a hard time accepting the fact that you're gone. You were my morning girl sharing texts as early as 5:30 am. We had so many stories so many memories. You were THE BEST!
Thank you for the 56 years of friendship and love. I miss you so much!!

It saddens me deeply to hear of the passing if Janet. We were Mercy High sisters. We were also big Beatle fans. Her favorite Beatle was George. I am glad to have reconnected with Janet through Facebook. My sincerest condolences to her family for the loss of a very sweet and kind person.

Sending condolences to Janet's family and friends during this difficult time. Janet and I were Mercy High School "sisters". And, while we didn't necessarily travel in the same circles, I remember her and her friendly ways. I was happy to reconnect with Janet via Facebook several years ago.
