Janet P Cromwell

Janet Cromwell Janet Cromwell, of Middletown, NY passed to the Lord on Wednesday, July 3, 2024 at Kaplan House. She was born to Harold and Thelma Cole on June 2, 1940. She was married to her late husband Elmer Cromwell. Janet was a dedicated employee of Metropolitan Life Insurance Company for 40 years. In addition, she was a literacy volunteer and tutor at O.C.C.C. Her true passion in life was the love and rescuing of cats. She was always a kind and generous person to the people and animals that came into her life. She is survived by her sister, Donna Cole of Middletown, NY, brother, Roy and his wife Carol of Hurleyville,NY, nephew, Keith Cole and his wife Nicole and their son Logan of Florida, and her niece, Leslie Cole and her fiancée James of Clifton Park, NY. She is also survived by several cousins and friends. Visitation will be held at Applebee-McPhillips Funeral Home, Inc., 130 Highland Avenue, Middletown, NY 10940 on Friday, July 12, 2024 from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM. A Service of Remembrance will be held at 12:30 PM. Burial will follow at Florida Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Orange and Sullivan Counties or to Middletown Humane Society
