Janet (Jan) Davis, born on June 9th, 1946, passed away peacefully on December 18th, 2025. She was a beloved wife, sister, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She was gentle and empathetic, yet strong and steadfast in her love.
Jan was married to her husband, Gary Davis, for 59 wonderful years. Together they built a life filled with love, laughter and shared memories. They were faithful members of Harvest Chapel, where they strengthened their faith and community together.
She was the proud mother of three children: Todd (Karla), Melanie (Steve), and Chad (Paul). Her legacy extends to her grandchildren: Cody (Justine), Logan (Jon), Lexi (John), Evan (Megan) along with many great-grandchildren who brought so much joy to her life.
Throughout her life, Jan found joy in life’s simple moments. She loved spending time with her family, gardening, had a deep love for animals and enjoyed reading and sharing good books. Jan’s love was consistent and dependable, a quiet strength that anchored those around her. She will be deeply missed by all who knew her, but her legacy of love and kindness will live on forever.
A memorial to honor Jan’s life will be held from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm on Monday, December 22, 2025 at Turner-Eighner Funeral Home in Somonauk, IL. For more information or to sign the online guestbook go to www.EighnerFuneralHomes.com
