Janet DeFonzo Obituary
Janet DeFonzo, 110, of Bristol passed away, Thursday, December 19, 2024, at the Ingraham Manor. She was the widow of Rocco DeFonzo and Peter Ventrella. Janet was born in Bristol on June 22, 1914, daughter of the late Dominic and Marie Casadonti. She worked at New Departure Hyatt Division of General Motors and retired in 1972 and was the real life "Rosie the Riveter". She loved sewing and cooking. She was a member of St. Francis de Sales Parish at St. Anthony Church. She is survived by 1 daughter, Donna Fusco and her husband Joseph and a son, Victor Ventrella all of Bristol. 5 Grandchildren and four great grandchildren, plus several nieces and nephews. A funeral service will be held Monday, December 23, 2024 at 11:00 a.m. at Dunn Funeral Home, 191 West Street, Bristol. Friends may call from 10:00 to the time of the service. Burial will follow in St. Joseph Cemetery, Bristol. WWW.Dunnfh.com
