Janet Dennis

Jan Dennis, born December 10, 1955, in Detroit Michigan, grew up in Massachusetts, passed away on August 28, 2025, at Lakeland Regional Health, surrounded by her loved ones. She was 69 years old. Jan spent the last 25 years in Lakeland and Zephyrhills, Florida. Known for her bold spirit, sharp wit, and love for her cigarettes and her dog Hugo, Jan lived life her way. She was the daughter of the late Harold Minkle and Eleanor Cherry, and sister to the late Fred Minkle. She is survived by her sisters Dolly Dacey and Marge Warsow-Schiller; her children Jeffrey Leonard Daughter in law Tina, Jodi Field, and Stacey Charron Son in law John; 10 grandchildren Janelle, Tori, Maisie, Candace, Kori, Katie, Ryan, Mikey, Cameron, and Zoey and 10 great-grandchildren. In honor of Jan's wishes, no services will be held. Memorial contributions may be made in her name to your local animal rescue. She will be deeply missed.
