Vivian Virginia Dippold (née Herbert) July 16, 1945 – August 18, 2025 Vivian Virginia Dippold, 80, of Lakeland, Florida, passed away peacefully on August 18, 2025. She was born on July 16, 1945, in Ridley Park, Pennsylvania, to Reverend Raymond and Vivian Herbert. Vivian was united in marriage to Reverend Otto Dippold Jr., with whom she shared 51 years of love and devotion until his passing on October 18, 2018. Together, they served in ministry with the Assembly of God Penn-Del District for over 40 years. She is survived by her children, Michelle Snell, Melissa Brady (Stephen), Stephen Dippold (Jessica), and Phillip Dippold (Laura). She was a proud grandmother to Brenton Huffaker (Sophia), Hayden Garcia-Huffaker (Raul), Kirsten Brady (Scott Reynolds), Victoria Brady, Emerson Brady, Logan Brady, Samantha Dippold, Colton Dippold, and Daisy Jean Dippold. She was also blessed with great-grandchildren: Kynnleigh Brady, Magdalena Garcia-Huffaker, Odin and Barrett Reynolds, and a baby boy Huffaker soon to arrive. Vivian dedicated her professional life to education, serving as a teacher and school administrator. She earned her Master's degree from Southeastern University and was known for her creativity in the classroom. Passionate about Florida history, she wrote a young adult book about ancient Florida, which she used to inspire her fourth-grade students. Vivian and Otto shared a love for traveling the world and the outdoors. Together, they enjoyed horses, camping, hiking, and canoeing. Vivian also had a lifelong fascination with archaeology, once joining a professional excavation and cataloging artifacts. Her adventurous spirit and love for learning were hallmarks of her life. A Celebration of Life will be held at Gentry Morrison Southside Chapel, 1727 Bartow Road, Lakeland, FL 33801. The service will be officiated by Pastor Rich Gorgone of Southside Assembly of God. Vivian's family takes comfort in knowing that she is once again reunited with Otto-dancing together and embarking on a new adventure.
