Janet Easterling

Janet Nadine Easterling, 61, of Springdale; passed away Wednesday, October 5, 2022, at Willard Walker Hospice Home in Fayetteville. She was born Sunday, February 12, 1961, at Berryville, to Donald Ray and Lucy Nadine Wilson Root.
Janet married Terry Lynn Easterling on Friday, June 8, 1979, at Metalton; and together they were parents to two children. She was a cashier for Walmart and a member of the House of Worship Church in Hindsville. Janet was a child of God with a servant's heart. She loved spoiling her grandchildren and was affectionately known as "Nana" by her family and friends. Her church family and pets were important to her, and she accepted everyone as her own.
Janet was preceded in death by her daughter, Pamela Kay Easterling; her parents, Ray and Lucy Root; and one brother, Steven Root. She is survived by her husband, Terry Easterling, of the home; one daughter and son-in-law, Rae Dell and Justin Davis, of Clifty; two grandchildren, Kyle Davis and Taylor Davis, both of Clifty; one brother, Anthony and Regina Root, of Kingston; and many nieces, nephews, and adopted grandchildren.
The family will receive friends 5:00 PM-7:00 PM, Tuesday, October 11, 2022, at Brashears Funeral Home. Funeral services will be 10:00 AM, Wednesday, October 12, 2022, at Brashears Funeral Home with Euel Bilderback, Chris Parker, and Marty Foulk officiating. Pallbearers will be Luke Root, Jake Root, Jonathan Emitt, Tyler Root, Keven Easterling, and Chris Cline. Honorary pallbearers will be Kyle Davis, Taylor Davis, Chad Roles, and Gary "Model T" Hull. Interment will immediately follow services at Liberty Cemetery at Dry Fork. Services are entrusted to Brashears Funeral Home and Crematory of Huntsville.
