Janet Hyatt Obituary
Janet K. Hyatt, 90, of Kingston, passed away Friday afternoon, Nov. 25, 2022, at Tiffany Court, Kingston.
Born Nov. 16, 1932, she was the daughter of the late William and Keturah Thomas. She graduated from Kingston High School, Class of 1950.
Janet was employed by Bell Telephone, Municipality of Kingston, Stegmaier Brewing Company and Hershey Chocolate Company.
She was a member of the Dorranceton United Methodist Church, Kingston, and an active member of Westside Kingston Women's Club and the G.F.W. Club.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Clarence "Buzz" Hyatt, married 64 years; and her sister, Miriam Smith.
She will be truly missed by her daughters, Karen Hyatt, Florida; Leah Kratz and her husband, Russell, Kingston; and Pamela Kuna, Pittston; seven grandchildren; and one great-grandchild, Saylor.
Janet will always be remembered for her kindness, sweet personality, heart of gold and her love of writing poems.
A private funeral service will be held from Hugh B. Hughes & Son Inc. Funeral Home, 1044 Wyoming Ave., Forty Fort, with the Rev. Tom Swingle officiating. Interment will be in Forty Fort Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contribution may be made to Dorranceton United Methodist Church, 549 Wyoming Ave., Kingston.

So sorry to hear of Janet's passing. I will always remember seeing her outside on the porch calling her kitties that she loved so much or chatting with my grandmother and years later my daughter always looking for her when she'd ride her bike passed Janet's house. She was such a sweet woman. My heart goes out to you all.
